Hey, late-diagnosed ND midlife sister!

I see you because I am you - and I have spent 6 years training holistically and have created a toolkit to manage my beautiful ADHD brain! I am a late diagnosed ND woman, in her mid 40s, balancing perimenopause, kids, animals, marriage, career, home... and still coming to terms with my new identity as an Neurodivergent ADHD woman. I am unlearning and at the same time, becoming.

  • You were late diagnosed - and it wasn't a shock. But you still had to grieve.

  • You want to crack on but you also feel like you haven't had much time or space to process this new 'you' - you want to unmask but you don't know how.

Why Embodiment Coaching
is Perfect for Neurodivergent Women 

Embodiment coaching is not just helpful for neurodivergent women, it’s often the missing piece. 

​

1. We Feel First, No Need to 'Identify'

Many ND women experience alexithymia — the struggle to name or articulate feelings. Embodiment lets us feel our emotions through the body, without needing the “right words.” It meets us where we are, not where we should be.

​

2. We’re Allowed to Be Big

In a world that often tells us we’re “too much,” embodiment coaching gives us permission to express our full emotional range — big, raw, loud, or still. In the body, we learn to move emotion through instead of shutting it down.

​

3. Movement is Regulation

Stimming isn’t a symptom — it’s a wisdom. Embodied practices like yoga, shaking, breathwork, and dance give us safe, nourishing movement that regulates our nervous system, grounds us, and feels soothing — like a reset button.

​

4. We Learn to Reparent Ourselves

Techniques like Havening, self-holding, and somatic touch help us build internal safety. For many ND women with trauma or emotional neglect, embodiment work becomes a way to reparent the inner child and feel comforted in our own skin.

5. We Crave Sacred 'Unmasked' Connection

Neurodivergent women often resonate with deep talk — the kind that goes beyond the everyday - this is what you get with me.

 

Embodiment is the path of the sacred feminine - and a lot of ND women vibe with this way of being: slow, cyclical, intuitive, and deeply connected. It brings us home to ourselves in a way that trad coaching never could.

​​MY STORY

​

At 40 I experienced ND burnout - except I didn't know it was that. I had spent years struggling, from being a 'wild child' teen to a binge drinking uni girl, then a struggling mum.

 

Eventually I just snapped. After several misdiagnoses, I got my ADHD one. Finally everything started to click - but it was far from linear progress (and I believe I am still really only getting started..!) I am a mum of 3, with pets, a big messy house and a messy husband with a big job. I have to captain this ship - so my own self care comes first. It has to. After my breakdown 6 years ago, I decided to retrain in holistic modalities: yoga, reiki, coaching. And I never looked back. I have done many courses, received a lot of therapy and coaching and healing treatments myself. And I what I share now, my holistic toolkit for neurodivergent women, is a blend of all of those things: it's truly holistic. 

​

To be clear, I am not anti Western Medicine - I take HRT for example! I do believe however we are too reliant on the 'God in the white coat ideology' and give our power away to it - we must be in charge of our own health: mental, physical, spiritual. Rather I have a foot in both camps. ​It was spiritual and holistic practices that really helped me. Meds will only do so much (and many, like me, don't like the way they make them feel.)

MY CREDENTIALS

 

I am a 500 hour Yoga Teacher, plus many CPD hours in Yin, Aromatics for Yoga and more. I'm a certified Holistic Life Coach and a qualified Embodiment Coach. I am not an 'ADHD Coach' in the traditional sense. I consciously decided NOT to train as one. (Even though I could access funding, and probably get more clients that way!)

​

Why? Because when I spoke to real women with ADHD they said more than anything they wanted peace, compassion and self acceptance.

​

I believe, like renowned trauma expert, Dr Gabor Mate, and The Holistic Psychologist (AKA Dr Nicole LePera), that ADHD is not a disorder but an adaptation to trauma in the brain. Further, I believe that this is not just a generational trauma issue, but a past life and a SOUL one. 

​

I also believe that we, Neurodivergent people, are here for a reason. We are the canaries in the coal mine. We came now to heal, to break cycles, the transmute. 

​

Add to that the sacred feminine rising that is happening right now? Oh Lord. ​This is a powerful time for you as a ND woman! 

​

It's not a time to give your power away, but to reclaim it. 

​

That's not to say it's not hard; it is. My biggest credential is that I have lived experience, a big heart and I love to share what has worked for me with others - this is my dharma, my life purpose.
